Defense wins championships. Passing is more important than shooting, but, c'mon, what do you want to do when you look at a hoop? Shoot it! And shoot it we will. Get your balance, get your rhythm, remember to follow through. Though mechanics are important, we don't want to be mechanical. Relaxed, loose, eliminate excessive motion. Splash! Coach Gurley will tweak your shot; keep it yours but make it better. The goal will be to get every player 250 shots before we unleash you for the scrimmage where you will take and make the shots you practiced. Eyes on the rim, watch the ball go in!
