This Weekly Practice will be held on Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30pm at the Curtis Hall, 20 South St., Jamaica Plain.

From Jamaica Pond Pkwy. – from the general vicinity of Brookline or the Boston hospitals area, take the pkwy. (rte. 1) to the point at which rte. 1 veers off to the right. Here there is a huge rotary. Go 2/3rds of the way around the rotary to a red light. This is Centre St. Go down Centre Street until you come to a monument (The Monument to JPers). Take a right at the monument. This is South St. Immediately on your left there is a large municipal looking building. This is Curtis Hall. Enter and go up to the 4th floor. Grab a ball and do the Mikan drill until you make 20 in a row.
From the cityside of things; go up Huntington Ave. past Northeastern University, past the MFA, past Brigham Circle and the hospitals and take a left onto So. Huntington Ave. (this is where the trolley tracks turn). Follow So. Huntington and soon enough it merges with Centre St. Follow Centre St. until you see The Monument; stay left. This puts you onto South St. Immediately on your left is Curtis Hall. Gym is on the 4th floor.
About the gym: Curtis Hall, the building, is an old city hall or town hall, that served and serves many purposes. There’s a pool on the lower level and they hold city elections there in the building, too. The gym is on the third floor, one of those old-type gyms with a running track above. The floor has been recently redone; two NBA style glass backborad and two side hoops (used by us for shooting drills). 70-75′ with a three-point arc (that gets lost in the corners) and all the lines and goodies. We give it a 6.5 out of 10.
